This Matters | Grace Bible Church

Join us over the next two years as we embark on a truly special season, all about vision and spiritual growth. We will recenter our lives around what truly matters and learn how to live for what lasts.

The Vision

This Matters is more than a sermon series. It’s a discipleship movement for every single person at Grace—adults, students, and children!

We live in a world that’s full of distractions—things that promise significance but never really satisfy. But the Bible calls us to a different way of life: to build our lives on what lasts.

That’s why This Matters is all about spiritual formation. It’s about growing deeper as disciples—about reordering our lives around the things that matter most.

When we align our hearts, our commitments, and our resources with His mission, we can build a legacy that outlives us all.

So, as we walk through these next two years (December 2025-December 2027), we’re believing God will grow all of us in four key areas of discipleship that we will prioritize:

Purpose That Lasts – moving beyond our comfort zones and learning to depend more deeply on Jesus.
Commitment That Lasts – identifying and surrendering more of who we are and what we have to Him.
Influence That Lasts – realizing that our lives and voices are meant to influence others for Jesus.
Generosity That Lasts – learning to trust God with every area of your life, including your time, resources, and finances.

This movement isn’t just about what we do; it’s about who we’re becoming.

100% Engagement

Our primary goal through This Matters is simple: 100% engagement.

We want every person—every adult, student, and child—to take a next step of faith.

For some, that might mean getting involved in serving or joining a group. For others, it might mean growing in consistency in prayer or Scripture.

And yes, for many, it will mean learning to trust God in the area of generosity.

But the heartbeat of this season is discipleship—that we would each take a step closer to Jesus and allow Him to shape how we live, give, and love.

$12 Million

Our secondary goal is an outpouring of our primary goal, with two strategic emphases (see “The Plan” below).

We’re combining everything into one unified effort—one fund, one vision—to resource all of our ongoing ministries, outreach, missions, and future facility expansion.

Every dollar given over the next two years, starting December 1, 2025, will help us reach more people, disciple more families, and create more space for life-changing experiences to occur.

When you give, you’re not just contributing financially—you’re investing spiritually in the lives God will reach through this church for generations to come.

The Plan

Our $12 million secondary goal is divided into two strategic areas that work together to support our mission today while preparing us for tomorrow.

Fueling Our Mission: $6.8 Million
Ministry Operations & Outreach

This portion of our goal represents funding for the core of our ministry for two years, based on our annual budget. It’s what allows us to pursue life-on-life discipleship every single day. Your generosity empowers everything from our weekend worship gatherings to our global mission partners. Every gift directly fuels our ability to help people find and follow Jesus. This funding will support:
- Spiritual Formation: Resources for kids, students, and adults to grow in their faith
- Church Ministries: Worship gatherings, care ministries, small groups, and leadership development
- Gospel Outreach: Support for local and global mission partners who are sharing the love of Jesus across our city and the world
Making More Space: $5.2 Million
Facility Expansion & Renovation

God is bringing growth to Grace, and we need to be ready. This part of the initiative focuses on expanding and renovating our physical spaces to welcome more people and disciple our growing church family more effectively. Every square foot we open becomes a new opportunity for someone to encounter Jesus. This funding will provide:
- Next-Generation Spaces: Renovated and expanded areas designed specifically for our children and students
- Welcoming Environments: Updated common areas and worship spaces that reflect our mission to reach our community
- Increased Capacity: More room to teach, host, and care for everyone who comes to Grace
